LCS undertook the construction of the Barossa Adventure Station, a family-friendly adventure facility that has become a cornerstone of the community. The project features a variety of recreational amenities designed to engage visitors of all ages and abilities, including a one-kilometre mountain bike trail, an exciting zip-line, accessible trampolines, a custom-designed tower and slide, skate ramps, a bouldering wall, a half-court basketball court, sensory sound forest poles, and serene picnic spaces.

A significant aspect of the Barossa Adventure Station is the meticulous restoration of historical elements. The project involved the preservation and refurbishment of the original rail turntable, crane, and the 1910 station building. This impressive endeavour required the building to be physically jacked up to reconstruct the platform, along with a comprehensive roof restoration.

The completion of the Barossa Adventure Station has had a profound impact on the local community, providing a dynamic space for recreation and social interaction. The blend of adventure facilities and historical preservation offers both educational and entertainment value, encouraging frequent visits and fostering a deeper connection to the region’s heritage.
