Pelzer Park/Pityarilla Activity Hub has activated the Adelaide Park Lands by creating a vibrant community precinct which encourages community connection with nature and each other.

Meeting spaces and active recreational areas are complemented with quiet places and a rich variety of play experiences provides for all-abilities and multi-generational interaction with activities and facilities such as Water-Play, Play Equipment, Sporting courts, BBQs, Shelters, Drinking Fountains, and Toilets.

LCS overcame a number of challenges throughout the course of the construction period including the realignment of the creek bed. This included the damming of the existing storm water channel incorporating rainfall flow control so that excavation works could occur to return it to a natural waterway. This included the planting of 14,000 plants to revegetate the newly formed riverbank.
