POROSA FOREST PLAYSPACE – BELAIR PRIMARY SCHOOL

This bespoke playspace is situated within the heart of Belair and stands as a prominent feature for Belair Primary School. Crafted by the LCS Design and Construct team, its surrounding Eucalyptus Porosa woodland has been celebrated through constructability and materiality, with specific elements incorporated to compliment the schools existing terrain challenges and natural backdrop.

The custom play elements and spatial layout challenge its users to self-navigate risk and nurture coordination, imagination and developmental skills. Its construction includes a variety of elements at different stages of complexity which cater to the abilities of junior primary users and above.

Its explorative nature and innovative design pays tribute to the sites context and provides all users of the space with numerous opportunities for group, inclusive and open ended play.
